Department of History and Political Science, in association with Mercy helping hands, organised an extension activity during the covid pandemic. We distributed food kits and vegetable kits to the needy covid affected families in WARD 38 under Palakkad Municipality on 19/06/21.Municipal Councillor Mrs.Prabha Mohanan, assisted us to find out the covid affected families in the ward. Faculty and students of the Department and ward member with all precautions visited the families and provided the assistance .Thus the Department raised hands towards the needy people in the neighbourhood in the pandemic period.
