Entrepreneurship Development Club

The Entrepreneurship Development Club is a student-focused organization that fosters an entrepreneurial spirit by developing key skills, providing networking opportunities, and offering practical experiences. The ED club conduct activities like Skill Development Programs, workshops, industrial visits, and interactions with successful entrepreneurs to instil confidence and equip students to become innovative business leaders for economic development. The State Government is encouraging the initiatives to promote Entrepreneurship among the students. The Department of Industries and Commerce , Government of Kerala, in association with Education Department formulated a Scheme to set up “Entrepreneurship Development Clubs in colleges of the state to incubate “entrepreneurship Culture” among the Youth. The entrepreneurship Development club is functioning in our college to inculcate entrepreneurship culture among youth and equip them with the knowledge, skill, techniques and confidence to act as torch bearers of Enterprise for the new generation. Entrepreneurship Development Club started functioning in our college from 17th july 2015 and our ED club is registered with District Industries Centre Palakkad from 28th August 2019.

Objectives of Entrepreneurship Clubs

To create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in campus.
To equip students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to start their own ventures.
To connect students with resources, opportunities, and a strong business network.
To promote social virtues like trustworthiness, integrity, and hard work as core aspects of entrepreneurship.

Major Functions of the Club

Organize Skill Development Programs to create employability among students .
To introduce talented youths to industrial research Organizations.
Organize interactive sessions with successful entrepreneurs from outside as well as with in the state.
Conduct exhibitions to explore the talents of the students.
Organize workshops and seminars
Exposure to various events in different parts of the state related to industrial development.
Organize industrial visits to business enterprises with in the state.
