The Mercy Research Forum, an initiative of the Mercy College faculty and students was created in June 2003 with the patronage of the Principal to inculcate research aptitude among the faculty and learners. It encourages research interest among teachers, students and exchange of scientific information among the teachers, students and public. The ultimate goal of the Research Forum has been to identify and promote strategies that protect and enhance the well-being of people. Research Forum provides an opportunity for graduate and post- graduate students to present and discuss their research work.
One of the Research Forum’s most important and collaborative initiatives was the annual publication of the research work in the form of a multidisciplinary journal, SCIENTIA (ISSN No-0976 – 8289) for science and JiggYASA (ISSN No-2249-3298) for arts articles. Every year Research forum organizes College level paper presentation competitions both for Arts and Science students. And cultivate the art of scientific paper writing for the benefit of students.
