The Career Guidance and Placement Cell caters to the placement and job opportunities as well as the higher studies of the students. It assist the students for the development of personality and communication skills, help them face the challenges of competitive tests and placement interviews. The cell organizes various guidance workshops and seminars for the students, about the emerging professional trends, events and job profiles. The cell offers various computer courses for the women of neighbouring locality and also for college students.
Various career and job opportunities , UPSC/ PSC notifications and also higher education options that are given in Employmant News, Thozhil Vartha, Thozhil Veedi and displayed on the career guidance notice board every week. This enables the students to apply for the career/courses which are most suitable for them.
The cell is indulged in conducting workshops related to opportunities in the Banking sector, Quantitative aptitude, Reasoning ability, Group Discussions, Personal interview skills and other soft skills. Various Career Guidance Programmes are organized to impart information related to courses of higher education.
The Cell organise off and on campus recruitment of various reputed, multinational companies and also host Mega job fair connecting the employers and job seekers.
Our students have excelled in both On-campus and Off-campus placements. Some of the institutions and companies where our students have been placed are Wipro, Infosys, T.C.S., C.T.S, All-Sec Technologies, HDFC,ICICI Bank etc. Many of our students have also been placed as College Lecturers and School teachers also.
