According to the norms of the UGC, College has constituted a UGC Cell. The functioning of the UGC Cell in the College has been commenced in the year 2003. UGC – Cell monitors and co-ordinates UGC aided projects in the college. The members of the Cell meet periodically to discuss the following issues.

  • Preparation of projects according to the UGC guidelines.
  • Allocation of funds to the concerned departments.
  • Allocation of duties to respective teachers for the preparation of the projects and utilization of funds.
  • Utilization of funds within the stipulated time.
  • Motivate members of faculty to apply for Seminars, Major and Minor Projects.
  • Scrutinise and evaluate individual projects of the departments.
  • Monitor the progress of all projects implemented.
  • Ensure that the implementation of the projects follow strictly the guidelines set by UGC.
