Department of History and Political Science in association with Asianet News conducted a documentary screening- ‘Swathanthrya Sparsam’ as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Maholsav on 10th August 2022. Details The documentary screening was conducted in the context of celebrating the 75th year of Indian independence. The documentaries showed the lives of unsung heroes of Indian freedom struggle, different freedom movements in India and unknown facts about our freedom fight. Ms. Shyni E.T, Head of the Department of History and Political Science coordinated the programme. Key highlights and other observations Students from various departments attended the programme. The documentaries given new knowledge to the students about Indian independence struggle. Many unknown freedom struggles and unknown freedom fighters shown has given new perception to the students about the value of freedom we enjoy now.
