a part of world environment day, Post graduate and Research Department of Botany in association with SESREC organized sapling distribution for the students, teaching and non-teaching staff on 05/06/2023. The saplings were handed over to Botany department of Mercy College by Mr. Kallor Balan, Social worker with his motivational talk “Solution to Plastic Pollution”. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Sr. Jorry T.F, Principal, Mercy College, Palakkad. In addition to this, department have conducted competition “Phyllotaxia” for the students to observe and understand different types of leaf forms.
