Onam celebration 2021-22 is corganised by Department of Botany and language. The celebration was named as ONARAVAM. Due to the pandemic Covid situation an online platform was selected. The celebration started with an Online competition of Malayali manga , Onam pookalam and Ormayille Onam narration. Seven participants registered for Malayali manga competition with representation from each department. A Video of 3minutes was prepared by each student and evaluated by a judging panel of five judges. Miss.Shyni from department of history, Miss. Jadadeswari from Malayalam department were the Judges. In addition to that an online google meet was conducted for evaluation of the answering skills and knowledge about Onam and Malayalam language communication skill. The online meet was chaired by Dr. Renju Krishna.V dept of Botany,Sr.Jilsa Assistant professor dept of malayalam , Divya guest lecturer dept of Malayalam , Miss.Shyni from department of history, Miss. Jadadeswari from Malayalam department. All the seven contestants answered well and fnal results were declared in Online onam celebration video in college You tube channel. T.R.Navya menon of English department was the winner followed byAmritha and Aparna as first and second runner ups.Nithyaamrutha was the winner of Pookalam competition and Riluvana M as the winner of Ormayile Onam narration. The online Onaravam released on 23rd August on Thruvonam day. A half an hour video was released with celebrations of skit ,Thiruvathira kali and Onam songs. One teacher from each department also participated with their Onam celebration wishes.
