A talk on Gender equity Challenges and relevances was held on Online mode on 14th January 2022. The talk was organized by Department of Botany. Adv. Lekshmi M.L was the invited person. She was a well known state gender trainer. The programme started with an invocation by Ashmitha I DC botany. There after a welcome speech was given by Nandananair I DC Botany. Adv.LekshmiM.L given a wonderful lecture on Gender equality. She started her lecture with history of dowry from Barbarian period. Thereafter a periodical description of dowry system introduction was given. The current challenges and problems we are facing were very beautifully revealed. She made how can we resolve the problems we are facing in now a days. A good interaction was made with the students. 64 members participated in the event along with the teachers and our beloved principal participated in the event. Dr. RenjuKrishna.V coordinated the event. Ms.Gadha compared the session and Ms.AthiraManikandan gave vote of thanks.
