Along with the knowledge of research and other procedures in it, a biotech student should have a clear idea about the terms & conditions to be followed while publishing a journal and his/her property rights. In order to educate our students about this, an inaugural talk was held in the Seminar Hall on 28th September, 2022. The talk was presented by Dr.V. Manon Mani, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, RVS College. The discussion went well on ‘the significance of Individual Property Rights (IPR) in higher education’. The necessity and procedures for patency and other rights of a researcher in the field was been explained. Students also asked their doubt on this and also about the other terms and conditions, a researcher should follow.
