On December 21st, SC/ST cell organized a visit to an old age home in connection with Christmas day. The visit was aimed at bringing joy and cheer to the elderly residents and showing them that they are not forgotten during the festive season. We had brought along Christmas gifts and treats for the residents. And also, we spent some time chatting with the residents, listening to their stories and sharing our own experiences. The Mercy Home visit was a meaningful and fulfilling experience. It was a reminder of the importance of showing kindness and compassion to those who are often forgotten or marginalized in society. We hope to continue organizing such a visit in the future and spread joy and cheer during the festive season. A total number of about 35 students benefited from this programme.
