PG Department of English Mercy College, Palakkad organized a Skill Development Initiative in Mass Communication Studies. As part of this, A National Webinar on Changing Times , Changing Media was organized on 4.11.2020. The Resource Person for the first session was B. Sreejan, Metro Editor of The Times of India. He delivered the keynote address on the topic, “Contemporary Journalism: Prospects and Challenges”. The resource person for the second session was Saraswati Nagarajan, Deputy Editor, The Hindu. She spoke on the topic “Women in Media: Reality and Myth”. The resource person for the afternoon session was Ms. Namrata Rana, Entrepreneur and Director of Futurescape New Delhi. The topic of her keynote speech was: “Contemporary Journalism: Prospects and Challenges”.
