ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON PUBLIC POLICY AND ROLE OF MARKETS On 26 July 2024, department of economics and sociology, Mercy College, Palakkad hosted a one-day workshop on “Public Policy and Role of Markets,” in partnership with the Center for Public Policy Research (CPPR) and Friedrich Naumann For Freedom (FNF) South Asia. The workshop featured sessions led by Kannan PR and Rahul V Kumar, who covered topics such as market roles, public policy cycles, and opportunities with CPPR. Students engaged in a group activity to apply their learning, and the event concluded with a discussion on further engagement opportunities with CPPR. The workshop provided students with a comprehensive understanding of economic freedom, public policy, and market dynamics, equipping them with practical insights for future policy discussions.
