“GET-FIT MOVES”- PHYSICAL FITNESS TRAINING PROGRAMME 2022-2023 Fitness is very important for good health. Besides feeling better mentally, exercising can help to protect from several disease and it can help to look younger, increase and maintain bone density, improve the quality of your life, and may keep away from getting sick. Fitness training is a combination of regular physical exercises and a healthy diet. Fitness training also provides with some mental benefits. With this aim the P.G. Department of Economics initiated a 3 day Zoomba, Aerobics fitness class “Get Fit Move” for the students. The physical fitness classes were conducted on 22.6.2022, 23.6.2022, 24.6.2022 from 12 noon to 2 PM. The training was given to the students by Mr. Satheesh, Certified Trainer, TopWinners Dance and Fitness Studio Palakkad. All the students enjoyed the Aerobics and Zumba sessions. The trainer made it easy for all to follow the steps. Initially some of them faced a bit of difficulty in following him up with the steps but then they got along with the trainer. The fitness training was really enjoyable and useful too. The students felt really refreshed after each session. They could learn a lot of new steps easily out of the sessions.
