Department of Economics, Mercy college Palakkad organized an orientation session DARE TO DREAM for the newly admitted BA and MA economics students and faculty members and the chief guest of the event Shri. Nandhajan at the seminar hall on 14 October 2022. The presenter gave encouraging examples and inspired students to be selfmotivator. He discussed the importance of positive thinking and attitude which brings optimism into life and such constructive changes can make one brighter and more successful. This programme helped the students to be guided by a positive mind and driven by self-motivation. A total of about 70 students from the economics department attended the programme.
