In observance of World Cancer Day 2025, the Department of Social Work organized a Hair Donation Campaign in collaboration with the People Service Society Palakkad (PSSP) on 4th February 2025. The event began with a presidential address delivered by Dr. Sr. Jorry T F, Principal. The inaugural address was presented by Fr. Justin Joseph Kolamkanni, who also shared the theme for World Cancer Day 2025, highlighting the global importance of cancer awareness. Mr. Joy Joseph, Project Coordinator of Ashakiranam, extended greetings and appreciated the contributions of everyone involved. The facilitation address was given by Betty Thomas, head of the department who acknowledged the collaborative efforts behind the campaign. Thilakkam Beauty Parlour Palakkad pivotal role in cutting hair donated by 23 generous donors.
