The Department of Social Work, Mercy College, Palakkad, in collaboration with the District Medical Office and the Social Justice Department, commemorated the International Day for the Elderly 2024 at the Government Old Age Home, Koduvayur, on 1st October 2024. The district-level inauguration was graced by Mr. K. Babu, MLA, Nemmara Constituency, who officially launched the event. The students of the Department of Social Work organized various cultural and recreational activities, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere. These activities included skit, musical performances, games and interactive activities.
