On 18th March 2025, the World Social Work Day 2025 observation began with a prayer by the students, followed by a welcome speech from Ms. Betty Thomas. The presidential address was delivered by Mr. Suresh Kumar O. P, and the event was inaugurated by Dr. Sr. Jorry T. F. Dr. Fr. Lenin Antony P. S introduced WSWD 2025.The Best Social Work Student - 2025 Award was presented, with special addresses from Mr. Christy Babu and Mr. Abhilash Benny. Felicitation addresses were delivered by Dr. Kurian Jose, Dr. Deepa N, and other dignitaries. Senior social workers, Mrs. Soumya Elizabeth Titto, CWC Member, Mrs. Anupama, Assistant Professor, CMC College, Coimbatore were honoured for their contributions. The best student social worker award was handed over to Mr. Abhilash Benny and Mr. Christy Babu for their social work interventions in the community.
