Department of Physics conducted a Photography exhibition “A Walk with Winged friends” on 30.03.2023 in front of the campus. Eminent Environmentalist and Ornithologist Advocate Namashivayam L inaugurated the exhibition in the open-air stage. Dr. Rekha Vasudevan gave a welcome address, Dr. Sr Gisala George, Principal Mercy College presided over the meeting and Dr. Lakshmi M delivered vote of thanks. Ms. Meena P Kumar, Associate Professor, Mercy college, and the young photographers Abhijeeth Satish, Abhijith S and Aswajith S were the photo exhibiters. Photographs of nearly 100 species of birds and 30 species of butterflies were exhibited. Students and faculty visited the exhibition, along with enthusiastic public. The exhibition was well appreciated.
