The inauguration of Energy Club of the Research and Postgraduate Department of Physics of Mercy College, Palakkad, for the year 2025-26 was held on 7th August 2025 in the Seminar Hall by Dr. Lakshmi M, Head of the Department. Niya, the coordinator of the energy club provided insight to the club activities and programs. In her inaugural address, Dr. Lakshmi emphasized the need for an Energy Club in the present global energy crisis scenario and urged the students to actively participate in the programs undertaken by the club in the campus as well as beyond. This initiative aims to promote technical learning, environmental responsibility, and practical implementation, preparing students to be future leaders in sustainable energy solutions. The enthusiastic involvement of both students and faculty contributed significantly to the program’s great success.
