Seminar on Properties of Real Analysis

On January 17, 2025, the PG Department of Mathematics and Statistics hosted a one-day seminar in the EV 33 classroom on the "Properties of Real Numbers." Smt. Sheela P. Koikkara, a distinguished resource and former head of the mathematics and statistics department at Mercy College in Palakkad, led the lecture. Dr. Nithya A. A., Head of the Mathematics and Statistics Department at Mercy College, gave the seminar its start. The program's primary focus was on the basic ideas, characteristics, and uses of real numbers, emphasizing their importance in mathematical analysis and problem-solving. Students' understanding of real numbers in mathematics was improved by this session. Approximately thirty-six mathematics department students attended the session. A session for clarifying up doubts was conducted.
