The PG Department of Mathematics offered a certificate course in "LaTeX Typesetting" to first-year postgraduate and final-year undergraduate students. The course sought to teach students how to utilize LaTeX for academic writing, research papers, and mathematical presentations. To introduce students to the fundamentals and advanced features of LaTeX for mathematical notation and document formatting. Dr. Nithya A.A, Assistant Professor at Mercy College Palakkad, gave the course. She has experience with academic writing and research publications using LaTeX. This 30-hour certificate course comprises of 10 hours of theory and 20 hours of practical instruction. During this academic year, 34 students took the course. The classes began on January 2, 2025 and finished on April 3, 2025. Participants were examined using an assignment, and a test was held on March 5, 2025. Participants who successfully completed the course were awarded a certificate of completion.
