One Day National Level webinar on Basics of Research in Number Theory and Construction of N, Z, Q & R was conducted by the PG Department of Mathematics on 22nd December 2021 in connection with the National Mathematics Day. The webinar was inaugurated by Dr. Sr. Gisala George, Principal, Mercy College, Palakkad. The webinar was conducted in two sessions. The first session was handled by Dr. Vishnu Namboothiri K, Associate Professor, Govt. College, Ambalapuzha from 11 am to 12 pm. He gave a talk on the topic Restricted partition & Linear Congruences. The webinar was very useful for the young researchers in this field. The second session was handled by Dr. Jijo S, Associate Professor, Govt. Victoria College, Palakkad from 12:15 pm to 1:15 pm. He gave a talk on the topic Construction of N, Z, Q & R. He explained the construction of Number System very effectively. The session was very informative and also helpful for the beginners to understand the basics of Number System. A total of 65 persons from different institutions participated in the seminar through Google Meet Youtube Live streaming. E – Certificates where distributed to the participants.
