LaTeX is a high quality document writing tool. The PG Department of Mathematics equip its students by conducting a certificate course on “LaTeX Typesetting” for UG and PG students in three batches. This 30 hours certificate course consists of 10 hours of theory and 20 hours of practical classes. The tutors are Dr. Sr. Jorry T.F, Assistant Professor, Mercy College Palakkad and Dr. Nithya A.A, Assistant Professor, Mercy College Palakkad. During this academic year a total number of 52 students attended the course in three batches. Final year UG Mathematics students 17 enrolled for First and second Batch with 16 students each, and final year PG Mathematics students 19 enrolled for Third Batch. The course started on 11/10/2021 and ended on 29/3/2022. During the course we introduce the basic concepts of Latex, creating document with sections , tables, equations, and inserting bibliography. At the end of this course students submit an Assignment and an examination was conducted on 30/03/2022 for three batches and awarded certificates on 31/03/2022.
