PG Department of Mathematics had organized a Collaborative State level Webinar on ‘Linear Algebra’ on 25th March 2023 at 11a.m in Google Meet Platform. The webinar was handled by an eminent resource person Ms.Sherin Jose T, Assistant Professor, HoD Department of Mathematics,St. Joseph’s College, Irinjalakuda, Thrissur. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Sr. Gisala George, Principal,Mercy College. Welcome Address was given by Dr.Sr. Jorry T F, HoD Dept. of Mathematics and Statistics.The webinar mainly focused on the applications of Linear Algebra in various fields like artificial intelligence, physics, engineering, data science etc. Geometrical representation of vectors were presented which enhanced the theoretical knowledge of the students. Around 65 students from both Mercy College,Palakkad and St. Mary’s College, Thrissur actively participated in the webinar which was highly informative. A doubt clearing session was carried out and winded up with the vote of thanks
