Research and Post graduate department of Chemistry organized a one -day Community outreach programme on “??????? ????? ?????? ????? “in association with THAMPU, NGO, ATTAPADI at Agali, Attapadi on 20/ 08/ 2022. The Venue was at Karthumbi Umbrella’s, THAMPU, Agali, PALAKKAD. The programme commenced at 11.00 AM and was formally inaugurated by Mr Rajendra Prasad, President, Thampu. The resource person of the webinar was Dr Sr Sigi M.V, Assistant Professor, Department of Language, Mercy College, Palakkad.There were two technical sessions of two hours long. One dealt with general awareness on health and hygiene and in this we could advise the people not to incinerate the plastic waste instead they should make arrangement to dispose them safe and in the other, students of Department of Chemistry, played a street play to invoke the importance on the topic of discussion. About 25 selected people from various communities participated in this programme. The programme ended at 3.30 P.M with a valedictory session. Certificate for the resource person was distributed.
