Post graduate department of Chemistry organized a one day National Webinar on ‘Empowering women through Gender sensitization’ on 6th December 2021. The webinar commenced at 10.00 AM and was formally inaugurated by Dr. Sr. Gisala George, Principal, Mercy College, Palakkad. The resource person of the webinar was DR. SR. SUNIROSE I.P, Department of Social Work, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Cochin, Kerala. There were two technical sessions of two hours long. One dealt with general awareness on gender perceptions and gender stereotypes while the other was about the merging of both feminine and masculine characters to face the challenges in the society. There were more than 100 participants from various institutes of national and international repute. The seminar ended at 3.30 P.M with a valedictory session.
