P.G. and Research Department of Chemistry, Mercy College, Palakkad, Kerala, organized a green activity com entrepreneurship program ‘PACHAPPU’ on July 18, 2023, at Mercy College, Palakkad. The program was actually an extension of the green initiative commenced in 2022–23 by the department. The second-year B.Sc. students participated in this program. Through this program, the students could sell 45 aloe vera saplings from the aloe vera garden of the department to Green Fest Agri Nursery, Near Krishibhavan, Pumb House, Tanur an external agency in society. This initiative was done to encourage young minds to pursue entrepreneurial programs in the future and to be aware of a natural resource, aloe vera.
