The Department of Computer Applications of Mercy College, Palakkad successfully organized a One Day National Seminar on Artificial intelligence and Its Applications. Mrs. Stency V S, Assistant professor of Department of Computer Applications explained the background of the seminar in her Introduction. The seminar session was led by Dr. J. Alfred Daniel, Assistant Professor in CSE, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore; elaborated the topic of AI, which includes it’s categories, latest developments, advantages, Applications, upcoming developments and also the job opportunities in Artificial intelligence (AI)
