A workshop was conductedon the Topic ‘Hardware Assembling’ by Jomon P Antony,Technical Head, NetgenComputers, Thrissur on 2022 December 7th?for the First-year andFinal year students of the department of Computer Applications. The primeobjective of organizing the event is to teach the students the fundamentalparts of a computer and also how to assemble it and they can later build theirown PCs. As the part of workshop, basic hardware knowledge such as externalcomponents, SMPS, Motherboard, Hard disk, assembling and disassembling of CPUwere taught. While assembling, all the doubts of the students were cleared. ComputerAssembly is an important process that every student must know. The session wasinteractive and informative to the students. 60 students benefited from thisworkshop.
