Department of Biotechnology, Mercy College Palakkad inassociation with ERAM education trust, Palakkad celebrated world environmentalday withthe goal of raising ecological awareness among participants on 07.07.2026. Theevent commenced with a tree-planting drive on the campus grounds, wherevolunteers planted local saplings to expand the green cover. Dr.Sr.NM Loluly,Dr. Sr. Sarupya, ERAM Managing director, and students co-ordinator gave messages to students. Following theplantation, an awareness talk was conducted featuring on waste management,sustainable living, and biodiversity conservation. The successful event concluded witha campus-wide clean-up drive and a pledge to reduce single-use plasticconsumption.
