The SESREC of Mercy College organised a ' District Walk for Water' on 23 March 2026 at 10:00 am. The March started from Mercy College and the walk was taken with the SESREC banner, Save water placards, and water pots as symbols for saving water and was received at Kallikad Govt school, kallikkad. The Nodal officer of SESREC, Dr.Nila N, Associate Professor of English, Mercy College, palakkad,spoke on the importance of water conservation. The coordinators of the program Sr.Akhila CMC and Ms Delmy Davis distributed ' Save Water ' badges. The students gave a talk to the school students giving them awareness on saving water and also giving them tips as to how to save water. The school principal gave the felicitations. The walk for water ended at Mercy College, palakkad.
