Asession on Leadership Skills and Group Dynamics was conducted by the departmentof Social Work, Mercy College, Palakkad on 28th December 2025. Ms. Vishnupriya C V, Assistant BranchPostmaster (ABPM) handled the session with the objective of enhancing student’sabilities to lead, cooperate, and participate effectively in teams. The sessionencompassed key aspects of leadership, including leadership qualities, grouproles, communication strategies, and collaborative decision-making, enablingtrainees to understand the intricacies of functioning efficiently within agroup.
Througha combination of practical activities and discussions, participants wereencouraged to reflect on their strengths, responsibilities, and the impact ofteamwork in achieving common goals. The session facilitated a deeperunderstanding of effective leadership and the importance of synergy in teamsettings.
Thetrainees benefited significantly from Ms. Vishnupriya C V’s expertise, gainingvaluable insights into leadership and group dynamics. The session was deemedhighly interactive and enriching, contributing to the student’s personal andprofessional development.
