The Departments of History and Languages, Mercy College, Palakkad organized a Menstrual Cup Distribution Programme on 20 June 2025 in association with Manappuram Foundation under GRAM to promote sustainable menstrual practices. Inaugurated by V. K. Sreekandan, the programme focused on raising awareness, dispelling myths and encouraging the use of eco-friendly menstrual cups. The initiative combined education with action, distributing 250 menstrual cups to students and promoting health, sustainability, and women’s empowerment.
