The Department of History and Political Science, Mercy College, Palakkad organized an awareness programme titled “Chiraku – Rise with Courage, Join the Fight Against Breast Cancer” on 17 October 2025 in collaboration with Amrita Hospital, Kochi and Asianet News to promote awareness on breast cancer prevention and early detection. Experts from Amrita Hospital and DDRC Agilus Pathlabs Ltd. delivered insightful talks, encouraging students to adopt preventive healthcare practices and highlighting the importance of timely diagnosis.
