Computer Literacy Program

Department of computer Applications conducted a Computer Literacy Program for non-teaching staffs of our college in connection with World Computer Literacy Day on December 2nd,2022. World Computer Literacy Day is celebrated annually on December 2 to address the digital divide that affects millions across the world and make computers more accessible to everyone. With the invention of the computer, tasks became much easier and more convenient for mankind. It is extremely important for humans to get to know the technological developments happening across the world. Therefore, it is a day dedicated to highlighting the importance of acquiring literacy in computers known as World Computer Literacy Day. The prime objective of organizing the event was to teach the non-teaching staffs about the basics of computer and also about internet and how to use it in our daily life. Each non-teaching staff was allotted one final year student to teach them. They were very much involved in learning and trying out the features and got their doubts clarified. The program came to an end at 2 p.m, with a positive feedback from all the participants. Around 10 non-teaching staffs were benefitted from the session and they all requested for conducting such sessions in future.
