A Seminar on ‘Gender Sensitisation: Laws for Women’ wasorganized by the Department of Computer science on 12/03/2023.Adv.Beena,Dist.Court,Palakkad was the Resource Person.Seminar aims to address thenecessity of laws for women in daily life. It also aims to provide ways tobring about changes in the society by addressing values like equality andequity. It is important to deconstruct the prevailing patriarchal notions aboutwomen, men and other sexualities. Family, Society and State also construct andreinforce roles and responsibilities for men and women.The session alsoincludes the changes in the gender practices of adults and middle aged in themodern era due to the new Technology Enhancements.
