SSL Student’s Wing

Students’ Wing

The Social Service League (SSL) Students’ Wing at Mercy College, Palakkad, is a vibrant extension of the college’s commitment to community development and social responsibility. Operating under the aegis of the Social Service League, the Students’ Wing actively engages young women in meaningful service to society. It helps:

  • To foster a spirit of empathy, compassion, and social awareness among students.
  • To encourage student participation in community service and outreach programs.
  • To provide platforms for students to engage with and contribute to marginalized sections of society.

The Students’ Wing plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academic learning and social commitment. It empowers students to:

  • Develop leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Build a sense of civic duty and social justice.
  • Contribute meaningfully to real-world issues affecting women, children, and the elderly.

Through its Students’ Wing, the Social Service League of Mercy College not only transforms lives in the community but also shapes responsible, empathetic, and socially conscious citizens of tomorrow.
