PG Dept. of English, Mercy College, Palakkad, in association with OISCA Women’s Chapter, Palakkad, organized an interactive session for students under the banner of Prakasini on 14 September 2023. The programme was titled “Women Entrepreneurship: Turning Challenges into Opportunities.” Ms. Priya Menon, Managing Director, Sankalp Creative Ventures Pvt. Ltd., was the Resource Person. She spoke on her entrepreneurial venture, ‘Sankalp,’ that provided a platform for women and rural entrepreneurs to market their art and craft works. The programme was also attended by members from OISCA. 92 students from the Department attended the programme.
