The Dr. K. M. Aboobakar Memorial Kerala Career Quiz was jointly organized by YES India and the Department of Economics & Sociology at Mercy College Palakkad. This initiative has been advancing the dreams of students for a decade and a half. YES (Young Ebullient Students) India is an NGO of students focusing on career and educational development, working for the betterment of students and nurturing them as the leaders of tomorrow. The quiz took place on December 8, 2023, at 1 PM in the EV Seminar Hall. Assistant Professor Anaida Ann Jacob commenced the program with greetings. Forty students participated in the 30-minute quiz, with SWATHI.A (D3 Economics) serving as the Quiz Master. Most questions were related to universities, such as the first national sports university and the founder of CIGI. Aashika (M1 Zoology) secured the first position, followed by Hridya S (M1 Zoology) in second place and Raina Sherin (D2 History) in third place. The Head of Department, Dr. Liji K T, congratulated the winners.
