A Session on Career Guidance and Skill Training has been conducted for students of the Department of Economics by Avodha, one of the leading skill development platforms in India. Miss. Sanjana p.p. of D3 Economics started the programme with a welcome speech, which was followed by the session given by Mr.NivinVijayan and Mrs. Akshaya Prasannan from Avodha. Major information on training programmes and skill development programmes was explained using a PowerPoint presentation, and it was very useful for the students. Students were keen on asking doubts regarding career development courses and placement opportunities in Avodha. They have also collected the contact details of interested students to help them join several courses at Avodha. Miss Vijithra D3 Economics proposed the Vote of Thanks to the representatives from Avodha and to the programme coordinators and teachers for the informative session.
