Research and PG Department of Physics, Mercy College, Palakkad organised a One Day Workshop on Quantum Mechanics, on 24th June 2023. This was a Post Graduate level workshop with no registration fees. Workshop was lead by Dr. Randeep N C, Assistant Professor from Department of Physics, Government Arts and Science College, Calicut. There were 30 participants from the nearby Colleges, Govt. Victoria College, MES Kalladi College and Ottapalam NSS College, including 12 students from Mercy college. The session started with a discussion on relevance of Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Entanglement. The forenoon session gave a basic understanding of the mathematical foundation of spin and angular momentum. In the afternoon session, these ideas were extended to Formal theory of Angular Momentum addition and computation of Clebsch-Gordan coefficients. The workshop came vibrant with the active participation of participants in the last session of problem solving. The session concluded with a positive feedback note from the participants.
