National level Mother Mary Chrisantha Memorial Mathematics Quiz for Higher Secondary students sponsored by Mercy College Alumnae Association as part of the Yours Truly Mercian’s Programme was conducted in Virtual Mode. The Quiz consists of two phases, Screening phase and Quizzing phase. The screening phase was held on 30th December 2020 in four levels. A total of 51 students participated in level 1 from which 42 students got selected to level 2. From these students 20 were selected to the level 3, from which 12 entered the final level of screening phase. After the screening phase 5 students were Qualified for the Quizzing phase. The Quizzing phase was held on 2nd January 2021 through google meet which was live streamed in youtube. This phase was conducted in 3 levels, from which Amal Krishnan K from GHSS , Alanallur was declared as the winner. He was awarded with a cash prize of Rs.2500 and a certificate. Keerthana T M of LSNGHSS, Ottapalam secured the second position. She was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1500 and a certificate. Richa Teresa Mohan of Bharathamatha Higher secondary school, Palakkad won the third prize. She was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 1000 and a certificate.
