In the year 2021-22, PG Department of Mathematics conducted a 35 Hours Certificate Course on MS Office Basics for Beginners from 15th July 2021 to 15th May 2022, which includes Basics of Computer, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point. A total of 96 students from different departments registered for the course and out of this 63 students completed the course successfully. The course started with an introduction class on 15th July 2021 by Mrs. Anjali Mohanan in Google Meet. The course was conducted through Gnomio – a free hosting service for Moodle. The students completed this course through the moodle cloud platform on their own pace. The objective of the course is to impart basic level computer appreciation programme with more emphasis on hands on training. This course enables students to become experts in the most widely used application packages of MS Office suite. The tutorial classes were prepared by Mrs. Anjali Mohanan & Ms. Jeslin Kuriakose. Practical sessions were conducted through online mode (google meet) and offline mode (in compter lab). An exam was conducted through online mode at the end of the course. After successful completion of the course, students were awarded E-Certificates.
