The inauguration of Reading Week celebrations at Palakkad Mercy College was held on June 21 at 2pm. Sarvavijnanakosam Director Dr. Muse Mary George delivered the keynote address and inaugurated the fuction. The lecture was on ‘New age of reading : Changed Concepts’. The principal Dr. Sr. Gisala George was the chair person of the meeting. The Head of Sanskrit Department Dr. Vanisree. K offered felicitations and Dr. Sigi M V, Assistant Professor of Dept. of Malayalam welcomed the distinguished guests. Mrs. Divya R, the teacher of the Malayalam department proposed the vote of thanks. Film review, quiz znd aksharaslokam competitions were held as part of the reading week celebrations.
