Audio Contest

Audio Contest in connection with Reading week was conducted by the Department of History and Political Science, Mercy College, Palakkad. Reading week is celebrated from 19th to 25th June every year in Kerala. As a part of it, the department decided to celebrate the week with an Audio book competition. The contest was held both in English and Malayalam. In the light of reading week, around 25 students participated in the event. They were given excerpts from ‘Ente Katha’ by Madhavikutty and ‘Thousand Splendid Suns’ by Khaleed Hosseini for Malayalam and English section respectively. Nimitha Joseph, I M Com and Divya Varghese, III MSc Physics won first prizes in Malayalam and English sections respectively.
