Department of History and Political Science of Mercy College in association with Vaidyaratnam Oushadhashala, Palakkad conducted a live demo of medicinal plants on the occasion of World Environment Day 2023. ‘Bodhini’ (An MOU initiative) under the Department of History, organized a live demo of medicinal plants in the title ‘HARITHAM’ for the students on 16th June, 2023, in the seminar hall. It was the Green initiative of the department for promoting healthy life through nature. Around 99 students attended the event. Dr. Remya Sivadas, Physician, Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala, Palakkad branch led the live demonstration of the medicinal plants with the description of their medicinal properties and medicinal values. Principal, Dr. Sr. Nirmal distributed the medicinal plants to the students. The programme was convened by Ms. Shyni E T, HOD.
