As part of the outreach activity of the Department ofChemistry a visit to “Mercy Home”, an old age home at Palakkad was organized on 28.8.2023 from 10.00 - 3.00 PM. The students of the department interacted withthe elderly, followed by an entertainment program with music, action songs anddance. They were very happy and blessed everyone. Later, Onasadhya were distributedto them. Twentynine students actively involved in the programme. It was a joyous occasion withfull of satisfaction that the team could bring some rays of happiness among theelderly. Visiting an old age home can be an eye-opening experience. Itcan give us a glimpse into the lives of the elderly and challenges they faced.
