Department of Computer Applications organized an Out Bound Training Camp for II Year BCA students of Mercy college, Palakkad on 4,5 and 6th of August 2023 at LEAD College of Management, Dhoni, Palakkad, with an aim of enhancing experimental learning, personality development and team activities. 29 students from the department participated in the programme organized by Lead College under the leadership of Mr. Sijin T C. Outbound Training Camp involves around activities designed to improve planning, teamwork, concentration and motivation. This Out Bound Training Camp provides tailor-made adventure training programmes. The basic is delivered as a three-day adventure camp for professionals, students and youth to get in touch with the true spirit of life through exploration of nature. Adventure education makes use of challenging experiences for learning life skills. This camp includes Valley crossing, Fire walking, Bridges and Rope based activities, Management games, Jumaring, Rappelling, etc. for the students.
