Department Onam Celebration 2022 & Payasamela Onam Celebration 2022 of the Department of Economics was conducted on 31 st August 2022 in the EV seminar hall at 9:30 am. Both PG and UG students enthusiastically participated in the celebration with different cultural events.III DC students also organised a Payasamela in the college which aimed at giving them a hands-on experience in teamwork and marketing. We started the programme with a prayer followed by cultural activities including onapaat and thiruvathirakali. Our department bagged first prize in the tug of war competition for which prizes was distributed on that day by teachers of economics department.The programme came to an end by 11:00 am. The department onam celebration of the academic year 2021-22 became one of the most memorable events in our college life.
